About me

Dr. Sam Smith is the founder and CEO of C-Change Scotland, a not for profit organisation supporting disabled people to live good lives. The organisation was established to support people assigned significant reputations for challenging services. C-Change has been at the forefront of providing personalised support with and for disabled people in Scotland since 2001.

Sam also writes and campaigns on issues of human rights, equality and social justice. Her book Human Rights and Social Care: Putting Rights into Practice was published in 2018 by Dunedin Press. She is currently writing another entitled Learning to Listen, Some More.

This blog will weave stories and develop ideas about life in general but the following areas more specifically; human Rights, disability, equality and social justice, leadership and business.
